THE FOLIO
Here are samples from my own copywriting over the recent years:
EXCERPT 1:
This century demands that conventional thinking evolve into inventive thinking. The result is Triptych: a series of sustainable vertical villages infused with art and greenery. It is the triple answer to balancing architecture, culture and community in urban living today.
EXCERPT 2:
It’s literally the height of total comfort in quality meditation seats. Easily adjustable to three standard sizes, the light and portable Black Dragon provides maximum support and comfort. Once you sit on it, you too will give it a sitting ovation for design innovation.
EXCERPT 3:
A city as luminous and bursting with life as Melbourne would inevitably spread its light into the western end and make the place come alive. The river turns to it. And so too is Melbourne’s urban life. This revitalized area now has its own iconic landmark. Its own live light. Its own AURA.
EXCERPT 4:
To constantly offer higher levels of creativity, more innovative solutions and greater collaborative skills, you not only need great minds. You need great minds that think alike. That's what makes the team at Deal a "team”.
EXCERPT 5:
From out of the blue comes a finely tuned and visually compelling apartment sculpture - Rhapsody. Architect, Karl Fender and developer, the Ubertas Group, free up the expression of architecture and bring new meaning to ‘a golden investment opportunity'.
EXCERPT 6:
The mind must rise above it all to achieve the clear thinking that generates creative solutions. This is the very thinking behind 360˚ at Docklands' boardroom with a view. Jutting out to the harbour, it literally transcends the every day. The view is an unrestricted, forward-looking perspective that can only inspire every boardroom meeting.
EXCERPT 7:
How about this for a whole new concept in high-rise living: when you're not looking down at the breathtaking views of the Kinglake Ranges, you can turn to see the dramatic views of Melbourne's cityscape, and have a bird's-eye-view of the wide-open spaces between you and the hustle ‘n' bustle. You're 35 minutes close, yet far enough to feel like a million miles away.
EXCERPT 8:
Freedom at your doorstep. Joy with no boundaries. Every time you're on your boat out in the sea, you know it. Life at Brindabella Point is a magnificently harmonious extension of this very emotion. From the private mooring at your doorstep, to the unrestricted and glorious ocean access.
EXCERPT 9:
Before our cooks prepare delicious vegetarian meals, they first prepare themselves. They do not touch any food until they have put themselves into a tranquil frame of mind. After all, food not only feeds the body but also nourishes the spirit.
Let Us Cook is all about good food, good attitude and good price. No wonder our meals are full of goodness.
EXCERPT 10:
Bask in the tropical landscaped pool surrounds. Sip cocktails in the lobby bar. Workout in the fully equipped gymnasium. Unwind in one of the many adjoining restaurants, cafes and retail shops.. It's all there at your doorstep. As crystal as the waters of Hervey Bay, Waterfront is clearly a chance of a lifetime opportunity.
EXCERPT 11:
If the present is a result of the past, then one's actions today will have consequences for the future. That's why we think about tomorrow today. We're in it for the long term and know that this is determined by the measure of happiness and loyalty we earn from you, the home-seller and buyer.
EXCERPT 12:
505. It's harmonious duet of French de Provence aesthetics and Australian design ingenuity elegantly balances community ambience and private living. Inspired by the subtle rhythms of the four seasons, French Riviera architect and poet, Maurice Amoyal, and internationally acclaimed Melbourne architect, Karl Fender, have come together to create the Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn Apartments. This is 505 St Kilda Road by Ubertas. It's where everything comes together.
EXCERPT 13:
Ladies and gentlemen, introducing Galliano and the dynamic vocals of Valerie Etienne; the kickin’ riddum duo of Crispin’ “the Pump” Taylor and Ernie “Bottom” McKone; the jazzamatazz keyboards of Mick (The Style Council) Talbot; the dancantics of Snafe, The Vibe Controller, the Dance Disciples, Uncle Big Man and Cyril Aka Scientist; and Maestro of Ceremonio’s Papa Watu; put them totally together, dial the Bass number on 11500 and book your soul in for one joyful concert unto the creator.
